NVTS Night Vision Technology Solutions designs and builds mid-long range EO/IR (electro optical infrared) ground and maritime camera systems for the US Dept of Defense and allied nations, and OSW industry.
We build advanced thermal camera systems to spec, matching range requirements and budget to vessel. NVTS cameras come with an optional portable control station and hand-held ruggedized tablet, for ease of operation and deployment.
The NVTS, dual use, marine mammal detection camera system will provide 24/7 surveillance for all phases of Offshore Wind construction, commercial vessels, fast ferries, and military vessels, similarly charged with avoiding whale strikes while maintaining overall safety and situational awareness.
NVTS is a Rhode Island veteran owned small business.
Joe Janson CEO/Co-founder, served in the US Coast Guard on an ice breaker in Antarctica and Arctic, and conducted SARs in Newport. Joe and the NVTS team build camera systems with the end user in mind, understanding the harsh maritime operating environments.
