Heico-Lock washers are a unique locking washer system for critical bolted joints such as wind turbine pitch bearing flanges, blade root bolts, gear box bolts and tower mounting. The special tension based physics of the washer system design ensures nuts and bolts will not come loose due to vibration and thermal cycling. All offshore wind turbines should include "wedge-lock" washers in their design specification.
