FTR offer unrivalled experience of providing services at supplier sites worldwide representing some of Oil and Gas’ major Operators and Contractors during feasibility, FEED, detailed design, procurement and production through to fabrication/manufacturing and ultimately final construction. We also support our Clients during their operation phases on and offshore.

FTR has an extensive database of professional and experienced inspectors based all over the globe that can be called upon to perform Inspection and Expediting Services in and out of country at short notice. We believe this gives our Clients a fundamental advantage where local vendor/client knowledge, working practices and language can be a significant impactor on successful project delivery. This is also advantageous when the requirement is immediate and travel time/expense is limited. FTR can also utilise its partner network enabling greater requirement coverage.

Our inspectors are carefully selected based on their qualifications, experience, competency and willingness to perform our clients’ requirement. All our inspectors have respected and traceable track records within the industry and are fully screened prior to proposal. FTR prides itself with matching each inspector or expeditor to a specific commodity, qualification, country and/or language.

QA/QC Inspection & Expediting Services
- Vendor auditing and pre-qualification of potential vendors, through to providing fully self-sufficient inspection teams to monitor the production process, and also inspectors to oversee construction activities and monitor field welding and coating works in the field.
- Last minute short term assignments where it is not practical or cost effective for their own staff to attend - Long term residential positions where the client cannot release a member of their team for an extended period
- Any assignment that requires highly specialised inspection experience

Procurement
- Definition of Project Codes and Specifications - Recruitment of QA/QC personnel for Clients’ project management team
- Vendor Qualification – Supply of senior inspection personnel to audit and pre-qualify vendors
- Vendor Management – Supply of senior inspection personnel to attend project kick off meetings and pre-inspection meetings to discuss and define the ITP
- Production Quality – Supply of QC Inspectors to represent our Clients at vendor sites globally, monitoring all aspects of testing and quality
- Production Scheduling – Supply of Project Expeditors to represent our Clients at vendor sites globally, ensuring that project schedules are adhered to
- Equipment Release & Sign-off – Supply of QC personnel to compile and sign-off data books, attend FATs
- Logistics - Supply of QC personnel to oversee load-out activities

Construction
- Offshore – Supply of QC inspectors to monitor quality during pipelay and heavy-lift operations
