US-based, DeTect manufactures, supplies and supports advanced remote sensing systems for offshore wind: bird monitoring and mortality risk mitigation radar systems and on-demand obstruction lighting Aircraft Detection Lighting Systems (ADLS)
Since 2003, DeTect has been providing its avian radar technologies to offshore wind farms in the US, UK, Europe and Taiwan. In 2008, the company delivered the first on-demand obstruction lighting Aircraft Detection Lighting Systems which is now the most widely used ADLS with systems operating at windfarms in the US, Canada and Europe. The company is based in Florida with offices throughout the US and in Calgary, London and Beijing. To date, we have delivered over 250 radar systems worldwide.
