Collins’ staff includes structural designers, engineer-divers, certified above and underwater weld and non-destructive testing (NDT) personnel, SPRAT and IRATA certified engineers for climbing and rope access projects, Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) certified-pilots, and engineers trained in confined space procedures. A unique characteristic of Collins’ staff is that most are cross-trained in these areas, bringing efficiency and cost-effectiveness to the projects they perform.

Past projects have included investigations to determine the cause and origin of structural and building system failures on industrial and commercial structures including wind farm foundations, hydroelectric plant tunnels, and marine oil terminal facilities. Investigations focused on steel, concrete, prestressed concrete, post-tensioned concrete, masonry, and timber structures.
