Founded in 1988 to provide fully trained inspectors for dredging. A.I.S. has evolved to include complete project development, management, and staffing support services for projects requiring biological & environmental data collection and compliance monitoring. Our PSO’s are compliant with BOEM and NMFS requirements.
Our clients include renewable energy, dredging , fishing, and environmental engineering firms, as well as Federal & State agencies.
Our experience includes fisheries sampling and data collection, water quality monitoring, design, development and implementation of protected species monitoring and mitigation plans which include worker training programs.
Our staff is composed of a broad range of professionals that includes: program managers, marine scientists, endangered species observers, fishery liaisons, fisheries observers. data analysts, report writers, data entry personnel, and general office assistants.
Annually, we complete over 12,000 days of at sea data and sample collection in the US Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico, Bering Sea, and Gulf of Alaska.
