About

With experience based on in-depth involvement in over 90% of global operating offshore wind projects, representing 97% of the operating MWs, DNV GL is unmatched in our ability to support offshore wind development in Massachusetts and the U.S.

DNV GL has been involved in the offshore wind industry for more than 30 years, starting with the first offshore wind projects installed in Europe, and we continue to expand our offshore wind presence and expertise as the global market evolves.

As the market in the U.S. has grown, DNV GL has grown a strong U.S. team of project managers and technical experts to support the U.S. offshore wind industry as it becomes a thriving market and a major contributor to the energy transition. DNV GL has been engaged in the U.S.offshore wind market for more than a decade through direct experience with development and financing activities of the Cape Wind Project and has also been engaged in the development of requirements for U.S. offshore wind projects on multiple fronts. Our team is well placed in the U.S. market, and can leverage our global colleagues, resulting in broad experience in offshore wind both locally and internationally, spanning five different business areas: Energy, Maritime, Oil & Gas, Digital Solutions, and Business Assurance.
